I am not surprised if little kids don't realize their eyes are getting progressively worse - I'm old enough to know and didn't realize it for myself.
LOL about the book falling on the floor. Yup my doctor told me I'd need glasses when my arms became too short.

I'm starting to need glasses but so far the granny 'reading' glasses are all I need. Can't read the writing on pill bottles, or the captions for the funnies. But since I haven't gotten in the habit of caring them everywhere it can be awkward.
