I would agree that Kindergarten B or 1A would be a good place to start. I also have a workbook lover, and Singapore Math has been a good fit. I've found the best prices at this supplier:

Note they have three different editions, plus Math In Focus (which is a different publisher, so on a different page). I've used the standards edition, while the US edition has long been a favorite in the homeschool community.
