Glad that it worked out. We had the same situation with our younger daughter - 98%-ile on most tests but 90 on one outlier in K, so they claimed she didn't meet the 95% cutoff. We had an independent SB5 given by someone who used to work in the schools, was very well versed in school district policies, and was an eager child advocate. If you get the right data/facts and professional support, simply focusing on logical decision making usually gets you to a good outcome. She said it was the parents who were overly emotional/accusatory/conspiracy nuts/etc. that caused her the most headaches.

We also had twins down the street that tested and were split/remained split through subsequent testing. That's a very tough situation to deal with.
