Another update. We just got back from her appointment to assess the visual processing issue and there definately is an issue.
The doc will write a report with recommendations for the classroom and then we will talk concerning a therapy plan.
I'm glad I pursued this, I think that HG(+) kids are so good at compensating for weaknesses like this, sometimes they are not diagnosed until junior high and even later. I think the sooner it is addressed the better for the child.
Now lets hope that a therapy plan can help her. I think I read something like 80% of learning at school is through vision.
