Hey all! I am getting ready for a discussion with our elementary school about my 4 year old, who will miss the NC kindergarten age cut off by a month next year.
She is reading at the 1st-4th grade level, depending on the part of literacy being looked at, and generally hits her milestones pretty early.
I am trying to understand the advantages/disadvanages of achievement vs IQ. I thought IQ was unreliable at this age? I don't suspect she would do as well on performance scales as she would on verbal, but I think she would be really strong on verbal.
Any feedback on the pros/cons on Wechsler vs. Brigance?
