You might be surprised by the achievement testing. I was for our son. I knew he could read, but I didn't know how well he was reading. I knew he knew his numbers and some basic math, but even his math score was higher than I expected. The achievement testing was what made me face my GT denial.
If you want to know more, Dottie's right: get the achievement testing sometime along the line. Maybe it won't be surprising, but my DS7's was at least a full SD higher than I expected it to be, and I expected it to show that he was GT.
