Ditto to what others have already said. But I wanted to add that for next year (a long way off, I know, but I like to be prepared!) you should ask the school to administer a version of the SAT 10 that is above his grade level. My son just finished 2nd grade (but is already accelerated) and took the 4th grade level SAT 10. It helped us a lot, since he placed in the 60th% overall compared to fourth graders. The principal has a much better understanding now of just where our son is in terms of learning. I suggest that you let the school know now that you would like an above grade level test for next year. Since they administer it to everyone at our school it was no problem for them to just give our son the 4th grade version.
