Some may say there is no such thing as too many questions, only too many people who are not comfortable with questions which tap the limits of their areas of expertise (and who do not wish to admit it).
One might expect that an experienced psych (or any professional) would have a factsheet to hand out, including lists of helpful resources. One might also expect a psych (or any compassionate human being employed in serving others) to provide affirmation such as the simple statement, "
That's a good question".
Hugs to you. To stay positive and not let the psych's exhaustion block you from your mission to understand, help, and support your child, you may wish to conduct web searches and keep a document with lists of the links you find, including a short synopsis of the nuggets of wisdom from each.
