I've read the ohio standards. But I'm trying to see if I'm clear on where my HG kids falls grade-wise in math without paying for another WJ (we were at 1.9 in preschool). What I'm looking for is a quality link to some math tests or the like for 2nd grade math - it would be easier for me to know how bad a mismatch this may be if i'm looking at the "problems" not a sentence describing what they should be able to do. Again, if the self contained program didn't close my summer wouldn't be slipping by worrying about this junk. public won't talk to me anymore unless we enroll and probably won't make promises until she's there for months... MAN it is insane that "this" has to be so hard - look at all of the posts out there about trying to find a school.

Did you look at the released Ohio Achievement tests? I read their 'standards' and thought, "Huh? What does that mean?". But the actual achievement tests are concrete problems that show what they expect a child to know at the end of the school year.
