Gifted kids are 'quirkier' than other people. Your worry is part of the profile for a person who is more likely to have a gifted child. My family always called out my mom for being a worrier; take it as a compliment and a sign of human intelligence. Also, I love the paragraph about my child's 'unique' behavior because it reminds me of my grandfather who passed away but left us many of his gifted qualities.
