Irena - the KTEA-II is a qualifier for DYS

"Kaufman Test of Educational Achievement-II (KTEA-II) Standard score 145+ (99.9th percentile) on at least one of the following sections: Reading, Math or Total Battery"

Both my girls were tested with Kaufman IQ (KABC-II) and Achievement (KTEA-II) tests, so I know a little about the tests. However, I'm still unsure why DYS accepts the KTEA-II but not the KABC-II and I'm hoping they might soon include the KABC-II or maybe explain their reasoning.

You can look through my previous posts and maybe get a little more information, but our testers told us the reason they use the Kaufman tests is because, in their experience, younger kids enjoy it and it holds their attention better than some other tests do.
