She is a bit behind her classmates in drawing/handwriting but I had put that down to her being well over a year younger than the majority. She is also left handed which we were told can make the writing process a bit more challenging.
She does gravitate more toward verbal type activities e.g reading role play over blocks or puzzles and the psych recommended we focus more on lego and drawing. She had a third grade reading and comprehension level at 3.11 so I think its just her area of strength. Always has been highly verbal, early talker etc. Since she has started school she is very interested in writing and does so at every opportunity e.g birthday cards etc which I think is great.
