I have an 8 yo that was tested right after his sixth bday. He received 140 on Wechsler verbal. The cut-off for Davidson is 145. Is it worth it to get him retested now that he is older? Should we use a different test? He is currently in second grade, but has been moved to fourth grade math. He is also 2-3 years ahead in reading and comprehension. We are lucky that his current school is somewhat meeting hs needs, but I would love to think we have Davidson as a middle school option. Especially since next year he will be in fifth grade math.
