We haven't done any school testing so no idea where he would score there. All we have is private testing.
On WISC IV my DS6 scores significantly higher on VCI than PRI. PRI is nearly 2SD below VCI. (A similar but less extreme difference was found on WPPSI III 2yrs previous.) Due to visual requirements of PRI on Block Design and Picture Concepts, tester feels this score is an underrepresentation. My son has a number of 2e issues that make accurate testing challenging.
Interestingly on Achievement testing (WIAT and WJ) both Reading and Math scores hit the 99.9 to >99.9 zone which make it difficult to tease out which is the greater strength.
He is reporting at his young age that he thinks he is "mathy" and loves math, however, I have witnessed his joy in learning words from infancy. I think he is very blessed to have talent in both domains.
