I had found something a number of years ago that purported to do some kind of subtest combination equivalent to the GAI with the SB because DD was given SB by her first tester before I learned more about all of this (and I'm sorry I can't find it right now). However, my impression was that almost everyone in 2e-land looks for the GAI or just the subtest scores on the WISC to sort these things out. So in our case it was just for our own information and was not very informative after all, since everyone goes by the WISC. But Ruf is an expert, so perhaps you could ask her before scheduling??
(For example, and bungling this due to poor memory, apparently the working memory tests on one are more verbal and on the other are more non-verbal (I think???), so DD got very different numbers FWIW. I have no idea how they purport to be measuring the things they way they are measuring anyway, but it has been worthwhile to know when people talk on this board, for example, that when they say low working memory on the WISC at least DD had the same test)
