Thanks for your ideas. We don't know a lot about her LD; just that it's a visual processing disorder. There may also be a verbal processing issue according to the psychologist. DD doesn't qualify for services through the school since she's performing above grade level. I have no idea how to help her with the LD myself. When I asked the psychologist how to help with the LD, she said we could send her to a private school that specializes in 2E, but it costs $30K per year and would likely take three years to get DD ready to apply to the other program that's free.
I need other cheaper resources. Is there anything online that could help?
