I agree with you Ania about the competitions. DS11 competed in his first one this spring and he was suprised at the complexity. He is so used to breezing through math tests. He did well but not as well as he thought he would.

This is the way to go. Believe me , you want to do this now and not in high school, when your child begins to fail!
