We are thinking about applying for the young scholars and I am looking at the application and requirements. My 11 yr old daughter has been homeschooled for the last three years so she doesn't have so very much as far as 'paperwork' for examples/portfolio. Almost all of what she does now curriculum wise is either online, self learning or reading. She does have qualifying scores from the Explore test she took in Jan. through Duke/Tip. Does anyone have any insight as to how important portfolio/paperwork/examples are? Should I include older tests and such from when she DID attend school?? (Missouri Assessment Tests, Cogat, Woodcock-Johnson all scores in 99th percentile). Or is that too old and irrelevant? Any suggestions or advise? Thanks!
