My apologies if these questions are ridiculously obvious (lack of sleep may be a factor here, but may not, too)

Did you answer the questions by hand or did you type them out on separate paper? Also, if I emailed my part of it, is it okay if the recommendation letter comes later, or should I give that letter some time to arrive before I send out my part of it? Also, if I miss the deadline tonight, which is looking likely, do I wait to the end of the next month or can I send it when I have it and they'll just wait to look at it?
