I'm a recently joined user.
Next to the "My Stuff" item towards the top of the interface, I am getting a flashing mail icon.
I have no unread messages (no messages of any kind), and have not received or sent any.
Does this flashing icon have meaning? If it is in error in some fashion, can I make it go away?

ETA: Per the FAQ (
http://giftedissues.davidsongifted.org/BB/ubbthreads.php/ubb/faq.html) the flashing icon supposedly means I have unread PMs (which is how I would have interpreted the icon). But in any case, I *do not* have unread PMs.
