Many programs and schools want a 130 or higher for Gifted Programs because that means that a child's learning needs will be significantly different than their peers in the classroom. It would depend how soft their guidelines are whether your child would qualify. A 130 on the WPPSI puts someone in the top 5% I believe. A few programs accept 90% and up for their programs. Your child is likely a bright child who should do well in a traditional school environment barring any other issues. You might find information at
