Thank you for your reply. I certainly can appreciate why someone suspect that an achievement test was being administered, especially if testing was being done for school-related purposes.

We home school, and I know in this instance that the child psychologist is waiting to conduct achievement tests until her general IQ test is completed. She's having her return for an out-of-level (or age) IQ test.
