How do I find a neuropsych who specializes in gifted? I did an internet search and it yielded nothing.
DS tested as gifted after kindergarten. His explore tests qualify him for Davidson's but we haven't applied because his old IQ test scores weren't high enough.
He's now finishing 5th and being homeschooled. It has been suggested he may have dysgraphia and I am inclined to think this is true but I want to pinpoint the source of the trouble. He reverses numbers in math when copying from the text. He says one number and writes another. He makes lots of careless errors in math and across all his work. Work is painfully slow. I am trying to understand if this is a vision problem or a memory problem or something else, and if anything else is going on.
