My 2pworth - do, but point out to him that if he needs review but doesn't do it, the topic will very likely get taken off his pie at the next assessment, and then he'll have to do 2 questions on the topic (typically) to put it back - if he can do one review question and avoid that, he's winning. But leave it up to him to decide, because actually, working out whether or not you need more practice at something is an immensely valuable skill, and it's good for learners to be responsible enough to make it ASAP, IMHO.
