I have no idea if any of you will remember us or not, but we're back.
Wolf is now 7 1/2 years old, in 3rd grade (one skip) in an Independent Study program in a neighboring district. He's a blue belt in Ho Kuk Mu Sul and working everywhere from age level (hand writing) to Jr. High / High School level (science, social studies, language arts). He still hasn't been tested (we're low income and neither district has funding for such frivolities)...
Bear is just now 5 years old. He started reading around 2 or 3, but won't demonstrate, you have to catch him at it, so we have no idea what level he's actually at. Ditto for pretty much everything else across the board. The powers that be have decided he is not on the autism spectrum nor is he currently "emotionally disturbed" but childhood bipolar isn't off the table yet. He has been officially diagnosed with SPD and anxiety (on the severe end). He still has tantrums, but not nearly as bad, and still doesn't do well with kids, but the local school district is actually working with us on that part. Oh and he's still in diapers with no sign of toilet training in sight.
I'mm back, hoping I actually have enough time to participate again.
