I'd LOVE to say that, but I'm low man on the totem pole (been teaching for 8 years, but this is my first year at this very... um... quirky school). Since it's a language immersion school, they're VERY big on more proficient students modeling good language for less proficient students, which I think is generally a good thing, but what bothered me about when it was said to me in this context was that there was no mention of what he should be doing to learn new things himself. I don't want to just keep my students busy; I want to keep them learning.
