Condense those into a two or three sentence summary. Apparently this builds up to outlining later. That wouldn't be a bad extra thing to teach. He'd hear the same lessons the other kids are learning, but he'd be learning note-taking with the same content you're already teaching while participating in the same lesson with the other kids. You can review his notes and give him more note-taking mastery lessons.
