most parents groan over these but the Rainbow Fairies, Junie B Jones, Diary of a Wimpy Kid and Captain Underpants were DDs favorites going into 2nd grade. Then she got into some of the Ramona stories, Judy Moody, Clementine, Just Grace, Ellie McDoodle...anything with a female leads. Right now she is reading The Tale of Despereaux.
