We have not noticed any ADD tendencies. Although his writing is his weakest area. He has always hated writing and tries to do as little as possible...shortening anything he can. Spelling is also a low area for him.
He was in a writing class for our co-op this year. I placed him in the 4th/5th grade class. They said after working on a few things with him at the begining he was pretty on par with a lot of the kids in the class. Maybe a little lower on spelling but writing was on par.
These are definately the 2 areas we are most concerned with.
edited to add* I have been impressed this year as he was writing a story (on going each day I have him type whatever he wants for 30 mins) he used a lot of conversation between characters and using a lot of discriptive words...it was actually pretty good.
