oh and. we've gotten a dvd diveintomath.com program for Mite. He LOVES it. So, we are pulling him out of math in school. He's progressing very quickly in it and we expect, if he keeps up this pace, he'll be doing Saxon 76 by Christmas. We are trying to find a similar program for writing. The district thinks they need to teach him how to write a sentence. They don't realize he ****KNOWS**** very well (better than most of the IEP team) how to write a sentence. The problem is by the time the beautifully created sentence makes it's way to his confused little hands, it falls apart. It is very frustrating for him.

So, we are hoping to do that at home, too. Then we'll have him in school for science, social studies, gym, art, music and because he wants to go. I think things will change as he realizes how quickly he learns and how many fun things there are to learn.
