No, they don't go through it every year. Once you are in, you are in, which is good.
In contrast, if you don't make it in the first year, or maybe the second, you are unable to take advanced classes in middle school, which prevents you from taking AP courses in high school, which will prevent you from getting into a good college, which will...... just kidding.
She will be fine, I'm super relieved and surprised she got in for math, which isn't her strength. But in my opinion, that is much more important, because they cover a lot more material. She is very strong in reading, and I've always felt that is a subject that they can advance on their own, where math needs some instruction on things they aren't exposed to (as with my DD6 in the other thread). This will give her some motivation to try harder and give more effort to her work, because her B's were from carelessness in her classwork.
Is Inview test not the IQ testing?... I'm so confused on ability/aptitude/achievement testing and all their interchangable adaptations.
