On the walk home today I added: basic exterior housekeeping -- basic yard work, some idea which direction the siding should run to keep the water out, how to tell if the pilot light is out.

There's a lot of overlap between basic SKILL and deep INTELLEGENCE... If you know how to think about gravity, you should be able to sort out which way the siding overlaps, right? Intellegence can't grow without data, can it?
