I have to keep saying thank you for all that you share through these threads. I can not tell you how much it means to have parents who have walked in our shoes validating what you know in your heart is best for your child.
Your personal journey, while heartbreaking at times, are not in vain as they are guiding those of us who are new at this!
It is because of the stories you share that in one day I have bounced back from despair to feeling very excited about the opportunities. If I can spare my son some of the experiences you've encountered then this really is the best thing for him.
We truly are seeing the bright side in all of this.
