Have you spoken with her teacher yet? Does s/he acknowledge that your daughter is GT and probably needs more than the normal child in the classroom?

If so, then you're in a pretty good spot. You can partner with the teacher to support her/him as s/he challenges your child.

If not, you have a much tougher row to hoe...
