I didn't read everyone's reply's to your question, but I had to tell you my advice. There is an incredible book I recommend. It's called, Thomas Jefferson Education. After reading it, it changed my homeschooling perspective forever. And it's really so perfect for gifted homeschoolers. One of the ten parts of Thomas Jefferson Education (aka leadership education) is to inspire not require. Which doesn't mean at all ignore not require, but inspire them so that you interest them in things they need to know so that they choose to do them, also helping them to learn about what THEY are interested in, and causing them to love learning.
