HEROES will have its Second Annual Conference for profoundly gifted students and their parents on Saturday, January 23, 2010 at Rutgers' University Inn & Conference Center on Cook/Douglass Campus in New Brunswick.
Students can select from a variety of programs including:
- 2 hour Astro-Physics Lab
- 2 hour Chemistry of Bioluminance Lab
- 3 hour Electronics & Robotics Lab
- 3 hour Marine Sciences Program
- 13 other one hour programs in language arts, math and science.

Most student programs will only accept 15-20 students each so register early if you want to get into a lab or other popular class.
The parent program includes sessions on parenting, new mentoring and academic programs, working with schools, preparing for & applying for college, on-line resources and the future of gifted education in NJ. For more details on the parent program visit
