I know how you feel, but you'll just drive yourself crazy if you keep checking. I'm pretty sure our Family Consultant also does a lot with the applications, and I have an email exchange going with her about needs for my YS, too. They have a lot going on for current members in addition to the application process, plus I suspect many of them have been off for awhile and have lots on their plates.

I'm in the same boat as you LittleCherub, and my "got it all" email was waiting for me when I got home from work. So we are in the January bunch. I'll touch base again the end of the month. Nan

It's nervewracking, I'm sure!! Patience is my worst quality. I'm the worst hypocrite Mom ever, trying to teach it to my children when I'm also one of those who runs to my email or the mailbox 100 times a day when I'm expecting something. I hope to hear everyone's good news in a few weeks!

For what is worth, I had forgotten I'd used my secondary account for my contact information (the one that gets crowded with a ton of emails) and it ended up in the junk folder there. Dh had gotten it. I then switched it to my main account and Dh was told he was to tell me immediately if he'd gotten anything on the acceptance in case mine was lost. He did but by then I had actually seen it.

We received our "got all your materials" e-mail on the 4th. Hope you got yours, too!

Woke up in the night last week thinking of things I should have included. Definitely time to chill.

And anyhow, maybe my kid isn't just crazy gifted--maybe he is just the alien that he claims to be; that would really explain a lot of things!

But at the heart of it is a kid who right now is building a new game and who has no clue that I am thinking about this! So life will go on either way. I think we'll go outside soon and play in the snow!

I was an alien as a child, too -- came from a planet called Tibit (I liked the palindrome aspect) and they'd be coming to get me on either my 7th, 13th, or 21st bd. Alas, those have all passed...
