Its a grade level standardized test. The private schools around here use it. Here at least in elementary it is a "circle the right answer in the booklet" test, not on the computer. My kiddo is taking it for the first time this year, but some other kids have told me its not "a big deal.

My last school (a private one) used it instead of the state standardized test. The newer version is computerized, but it is a grade level test. It does not continue getting harder until the child gets some wrong.
It is reported to be harder than the state testing, but DD took it last year (gr 2) and she got almost every question correct and said it was super easy and a waste of time.

thanks! should be interesting... they say that I will be able to access the results online as soon as it is over. Is that true? I am so curious. This is one of the private schools that does not think he is ready for 1st grade and will not yet discuss a grade skip to 1st, so I am curious to see how it pans out!!

We used Aristotle Circle to get our daughter ready for the test.
