    EandCmom,
Good luck to your DS on the Explore Test this weekend! My son was able to make his afternoon game the day he took the Explore, but this Sat, he has the district band solo competition so may miss the last regular BB game with his community team. They are also currently (tied, maybe) in first place.

I bought two prep books for the ACT my kids are scheduled to take in April. Aside from the fact that they are really busy with other interests and requirements, they have no desire to look at the books, much less any intention of taking practice tests!

They parrot back that the sitting in April IS the practice test!

Thanks delbows! I'm glad your son was able to make his game the day he took the Explore. Hopefully he'll be able to make his game this weekend too. My DS is sad he is going to miss his game but if they win it he'll get to play next week too (so hopefully that will happen!) Congrats on your team being in first place!!

I've had a hard time finding the time for him to take the short practice tests so I can imagine finding the time for the ACT prep is virtually impossible. Good luck when they take the test in April. smile

DD had a skating competition the day she took Explore test. It is a 3 day competition and her first event was of course Sat. 8:30am. Luckily she has another competition coming up next week, so she wasn't too upset.

Dottie- how is the waiting going for you? I "almost" forgot about it for a while, but now I'm getting antsy again....

Strangely, I don't feel the least bit guilty! cool

I know your DS did GREAT! And if the last set of scores didn't convince that he was PG, then I doubt this round will, either, no matter how amazing they are! Honestly, there's no hope for some people wink

We have snail mail (I think they fly it to Japan, then Brussels, then back here) and get ours about a week after everyone, so now I'm anxious.

Ok, DS got his SAT results by snail mail yesterday, but no Explore results for DD. They were administered on the same day and I think it is safe to bet that MUCH less people take Explore than SAT :-)
    Anybody got anything???
