How do I know what part of the SB 5 and the WPPSI correspond to math, reading, and writing or is not so easily correlated?
Ds5 has always been advance in reading (2nd-3rd grade) but did not learn how to spell on his own and is not great with rote memory. His math seems to be pretty good too since he's in K and doing fine in first grade math at school right now. Thanks. This is just for my own curiosity.

Math talent tends to go along with fluid reasoning, which is one of the five factors on the SB-5 and the K-ABC-II, and corresponds to Perceptual Reasoning on the WISC-IV (as well as anything on the WISC corresponds to anything in current research) and Nonverbal Reasoning on the DAS-2.

But Dottie is right -- academic achievement is tested on tests of academic achievement, which is why we generally recommend both cognitive and academic tests.
