My son's room is jam packed with boxes. Today is going to be a sad day of cleaning out the boxes (gotta do it since the grandparents will be visiting). He sneaks the boxes in from the recycling bin to his room and they become robots, creatures, spaceships, etc.

2nd graders at DS's school traditionally make costumes out of boxes for the Halloween parade...so it was right up his alley smile

My kids love making things from old boxes and find it hard to say goodbye to their creations. To make it easier, I take pictures of them with their stuff before it gets recycled.

Yes! We do that too! My DS8 falls in love with his creations (and his stuffed animals, and the leaves or sticks he finds...). He's just like his mother. smile
