DS4 had an aha! moment in the car over the weekend. We ere driving home when he suddenly said "Momma, guess what!" I asked him what and he replied that he knew why the road was black. I asked him to explain, it went something like this....

DS - The road is black because tires are black and they rub off on the road.

Me - The road is made from pavement which is black. It's not black because of the tires.

DS - Now, I know. The tires are black because the road is made of black pavement!

Me - Tires are made of rubber that is black.

DS - I don't think I want to have this conversation with you anymore! (insert big pouty lip here)

Maybe you had to be there. Give him credit for reasoning this all out based on evidence. I felt horrible telling him he was wrong.

ha ha...mine would add in, "Yeah, that's what I meant, and/or: I knew that and I was just testing you."
