I'm heading off to the polls this morning, feeling guilty that I didn't research in detail any of the candidate's educational policies. good luck to all of you, whoever you choose. If anyone want's to Private Message me about the election, feel free.

Do you feel that your vote is more important in the primaries?

Grinity - I am just curious, what time do you get on the computer? If it's before you serve your son breakfast, how do you manage that?

    LOLROTF!

I do a lot of classic mom things, but I don't have breakfast duty for the last few years! Instead, I leadershipped my DH into making a piece of toast for DS while DH makes his own breakfast. DS just isn't hungry in the morning, but we insist that he eat at least a slice of toast. DS, at age 11, can also wake up to an alarm clock, and put on the clothing that I layed out (he could pick it himself, when I occasionally forget, but seems to feeled 'extra-loved' if I do it the night before. We try to get the backpack packed and ready the night before, and there isn't any am washing besides the toothbrushing at the breakfast table, which DH also is in charge of.

An only child does have certian advantages - it's really really quiet around here in the pre-school/work rush! We have a sort of "no deep thinking or perfectionism in the morning rule."

I usually do treadmill right after checking in here, so off I go! See you tommorow!

DS 11 and I were watching the election results come in last night on TV (he's been studying this at school, researched the candidates, so he's very interested). DH and I belong to different parties, so only I was voting yesterday. Very disorganized here, long lines, poor older folks who came out in blustery weather and waited in line with walkers.

I am an Obama supporter, and I guess DS 6 has been sold, too, because last night he said, "If Hillary wins, I'm going to move to another country." I laughed because I didn't know he was really paying attention.

I confess I'm registered for the "other" party for the primaries because I'll take whomever "we" get, but I tend to loathe and detest certain of "their" candidates.

The only downside is that I get lots of annoying calls urging me to get to the polls to vote for the candidate I can't stand. However, I take a certain perverse pleasure in being urged to get out and vote by the very guy I'm voting against! He's paying to remind me to vote against him. Love that!

We're not a Super Tuesday state, though, so I didn't get to vote yesterday.

Me, too! I'm having a VERY hard time choosing because I am not crazy about any of them. Like you, though, I'll take whoever "we" get.
