Last time I did the DYS application, I copied it into another program and I was able to type in the anwsers. Since that time, my computer died and I may have lost something. I have a 2003 MS word that I tried to copy into and it did not work.

Please advise what programs you have used to do this.

I just printed all the forms, and then copy-pasted the questions with longer answers into a word processor. Any would do. Worst case, type the questions directly, it is not that many of them.

Best PDF editor around is BlueBeam Revu. It'll let you open the application PDF and type away, check boxes, add signatures, etc.

I've tested many, MANY such programs over the years and BlueBeam is far beyond its competition.

And... you'll likely get your app done well within the 30-day trial period.

Hmm.. the thought had never crossed my mind to do anything other than write it. Guess I'll have to think about that before submitting in the next week or two.

I would not worry to type or not. If they can read your handwriting you are good. I type everything I can because I revise my writing a lot.

What a great program!! Thanks so much for this tip. I was suppose to be doing this application, but was dragging...
I finished the application in 20 minutes last night!
Bluebeam was just what I needed. Thanks again!!
