Thank you all! Things have been crazy busy around here as always, but that is a good thing. She constantly keeps me on my toes. It is good to hear how others have handled this situation, and to know I am not the first one to have experienced it.

I think one of our problems is that DD isn't around many kids her age very often. We are in a pretty rural area and there just are not many opportunities. The library provides us with one, which is awsome and we are going to be enrolling her in soccer at the ymca andgymnastics this fall, which will be good becaus eshe will really be able to see kids whose abilities are stronger then hers in other areas.

We only ave one preschool in the area and it is very very play based which would drive DD nuts. She doesn't do that well and actually gets upset in those situations. We tried it last fall. She was miserable everyday, and asked if she could take worksheets to do.

I wish I could say that it would get better school option wise when she turns 5, but I have been informed by way too many people here, including her ped and an educational specialist that the school system won't work for her, nor will it differentiate enough. The good thing we, we don't plan on staying here forever, so in a few years we will be hoping to move someplace that will be a better fit.

Again, Thank yall all so much!
