    LMAO I'd like to see 37 other kids in the school district that CAN read at 4 years ;-) Remember other options are out there. Private K, wait a year and skip K, find a montessori goes up into graded classes where he can grade float... etc. There are more solutions than ee for k ;-)

    LOL. I love it when kids out-logic stupid adults.

    If I were you, I'd video your son reading the letter they sent you. It would make a point one way or another....

    ROFL!!!!! i thought about taping him reading and sending it in....but taping him reading their letter is HYSTERICAL! lol.

    AMEN! we have a montessori....i am not quite sure how it works...i'll call and ask i guess.

    we can't skip k here....it is mandatory..and they will not let you enroll in first grade unless you are 6 by the cut off and have completed an accredited k program. they really want to make sure all kids start out with the basics.....even those that don't need it. wink
