We just bought a mouse for DD to use on one of our computers today. (we have lap tops and she had been trying to use the touch pad but it was hit and miss) Anyway, she figured it out instantly and has been on the computer herself on starfall and some of her other sights half the day LOL. Maybe I can actually get some stuff done now !

I was a little bit heartbroken when DD stopped needing my help on the computer. It seemed like the end of babyhood and the beginning of true independence. Ah well. I'm glad to hear you're taking it better than I did. smile

Yup... The latest has been my crazy (trashpicked) laptop sometimes thinks you're holding the mousebutton down when you're not, and DS had to tell me how to make it stop... apparently the spacebar makes it "unclick" itself. How he knows that I'll never figure out...

I remember (way too many years ago) being in the library with DS so he could play their computer games... when one of them froze up and he said "Is it okay if I just alt-f4 this?" Uh... Do what now?? crazy

Oh congratulations! I was so exited when DD learned to use the touchpad. She was getting so frustrated when she needed help. She still sometimes asks me to sit with her, but mostly she tells me to go and read my email so she can concentrate LOL. I'm counting on her to be able to fix our computer issues when she grows up. She already helped my ILs to use my mac while they were visiting. Luckily we had 3 laptops so no need to fight.
