Anyone ever had a phone confrence with Dr. Ruf before a child has been tested? Does anyone know how much such a thing costs?

I would love to talk to her about DD and figure out what I can do better for her. She seems to fit level 3-4, more 4 as time goes on, but we don't plan on testing for a few years.

I ave heard of phone conferencing with her but would love to know the costs.

Yes, you can call/email her office and get a quote. I know of a few parents who have done it and they have had very good experiences, strongly recommending the experience.

Maybe you could wait until she is at least 3/3.5 to get a better idea and more useful information from her.

My DD6 for example was not very clearly a level 4 from her lists when she was 2 or 3; it became more obvious as she grew (she was not a child interesting in academics). She is now a DYS. What I am saying is that things get clearer for many kids as they grow older (one of perhaps a few reasons why Dr. Ruf doesn't test young kids).

yeah i was thinking of waiting until next year, when she is 3.5 but wanted to be able to start saving up if it is alot LOL
