My DS9 in 3rd has applied to DYS with Minimum scores. They asked for IQ that I now have which may also have a minimum score (thanks Dotti). Since application was sent in, he has done some more work in his mindware Math Perplexors that the gifted teacher said her 5th graders are having a hard time with.
He has told me he can do square roots and percentages. I have never seen him do this. Any suggestions for showing this? If we did a trial on Alex would that generated a report that would work to show these skills. I'm not sure if these skills are even advanced enough for DYS. Is there a better source for showing what he can do?
