I haven't read any of the responses. My son, DS6, wasn't eating his lunch either and we learned from talking w/ the school psych etc that it was b/c of the noise in the lunch room which he found very distracting and stressful. Could there be some issue w/ your son?

My GD5 is very thin and high energy. She really needs her food to keep it together. She's also a picky eater but we send food she asks for and is easy to eat. The biggest problem seems to be that as soon as they are through eating, they get to go outside to play. So guess which one she chooses! They do not get snacks at school so she is usually ravenous when she gets home. I know that some of her behavior problems at school are do to lack of food/energy (it's also hard to get her to eat breakfast). So frustrating.

I think observing both the lunchroom and the classroom is a good idea.
